MAGGIE

Writer / Lead Artist

Maggie is a story of sisterhood, rebellion, and reckoning. Inspired by the life of Airdrie’s forgotten witch, this is not just a tale—it’s a confrontation. Everything you hear, see, and feel is drawn from real histories, ripped from the pages of the past and thrust into the present.

Step inside an old, red, forgotten building where the air hums with defiance and the walls are steeped in secrets. Here, we dare you to question what you know, to unlearn the comfortable, and to face the uncomfortable truths that history tried to bury.

On the surface, Maggie is a ghostly, hypnotic spectacle—alive with powerful performances, charged monologues, and striking visuals. But beneath the flickers of light and shadow, it carries a message. A warning. A refusal. We are not returning to a world where men decide the fates of women.

You don’t know the rules here. You must be willing to listen. To challenge. To change.

Maggie is being devised and developed in collaboration with the senior acting ensemble at Imagine That Performing Arts—crafted by the voices of a new generation who refuse to let history repeat itself.
